Tales from the woods

Hello, Happy Valentines day.
I've just launched the blog on Facebook, but I am still not sure why it doesn't come up on the Google search any ideas?

  • The loo seems Ok in principle so I am sourcing the timber I need 4, 8" diameter Douglas fir poles about 12' long and lots of wavy edged board so if you could check your woodsheds that would be great.
  • The handbook is still a work in progress. People keep offering me work but have spent a good day of enforced stay at home working on it, don't you just love writing policy documents.
  • As I said in my comments the weekend with the team was fantastic.
  • Rachel, Thank you so much for all the organising you have done. The sessions and me would not have happened if it was not for your hard work and enthusiasm.
  • We are providing the bushcraft training for the SW Area Woodcraft folk Meet on the 12th of March in the Forest of Dean that should be delightful.
  • Plans are afoot for the Bushcraft Village at Co-Camp in August.
  • I will be attending a Fieldcraft weekend with the ATC on the 1st weekend of March. I am really looking forward to it. This is a major area of development for GBB, I am already in negotiations with the RAF about offering self reliance courses, aimed at cadets and based around issue kit.
  • Half term next week "To the woods dear mother"
  • Read "The Tables Turned" by William Wordsworth. Thanks to Richard Steward for introducing me to it.
Busy busy busy, but enjoying every minute of it.

Hope you're all having fun too.
